Ranfac's patented SNARECOIL™ bone marrow biopsy needles capture long, non-fragmented bone marrow specimens for optimal pathological evaluation. The SNARECOIL™ is located at the needle tip and is actuated by a lever in the handle. The Snarecoil®’s design is such that it acts to wind around and grab long (> 2cm) specimen cores which are retained safely in the needle. Eliminated is the need to twist or manipulate the needle, as is the need for additional passes.
The net result is less patient pain and trauma. Paramount is the quality of specimens obtained for accurate pathological evaluation.
